About Peter Goldwater

Peter’s studio is in Long Island City where he teaches the potters wheel and creates his own art. Thought Peter is accomplished potter he views himself as a sculptor who works in clay.  He recieved his MFA from Pratt Institute.  Peter has a wife, two children and two dogs. He has been teaching at Brickhouse Ceramics Arts Center for many years. 

Concerns:
Movement, Form, Space, Structure, Strength, Weakness, Balance, Current, Flow, Tension, Anxiety, and Fear.
